A two or three year old Brown Bear on Chichagof Island in Southeast Alaska. He doesn’t have any battle scars yet.
He was eating skunk cabbage when I found him wandering through the woods.
You can see his mouth opening and closing. He’s air tasting my scent. Thankfully he decided I did not taste like something he wanted to eat and he went back to his salad.
